Yeah, I'm that excited

It's all actually in tabs

Only 15 minutes to go! I'll fill this post up with reactionary fawning over the new gear once it is announced. Let's hope these news servers can keep up with the load.

  • So far, nothing particularly good. iPod accessory, iPhoto update, iMovie update. Tiger point release. Where's the hardware?!
  • Oh wow. An iMac with an intel processor. And a Power - er Mac - Book with an intel processor. Only in 15". I don't think underwhelmed really is a strong enough word to describe this.

And (&!) yeah, name as high a price as you want Di - I'm a Mac user, and so am used to paying far too much for their products!

Er.. & the comment feed will work again now. I forgot that Blogger don't actually spit out any normal standard looking date strings in their mangled HTML.

The real news from MWSF 2006? Google has finally released Google Earth for Mac OS X!

I'll one up that - I was playing around with the beta for Google Earth a month ago. I think the real news that came out of MWSF was that Microsoft are now giving away a plugin for WMV for Quicktime. No more crappy WMP needed! Finally you can watch those crappy attachments which people send to you via email.

Didn't you just use Mplayer or VLC?

Hiren Joshi *

Yeah I use VLC for most stuff, but there wasn't codec support for WMV3 (due to licensing issues afaik). This should allow you to play the WMV3 files. I think it works, as I haven't found any videos which haven't worked yet.
